It has been almost 60 years that Heddy Kun has been painting her rich world with strong, bright colors. Her paintings are a relationship and a bridge between realism and impressionism. The changing light and the way the sun affects the painted object â be it mountainscape, stormy sea or a door â are achieved by short and strong brush strokes. Sea and sky are reflected in each other and constantly change in her paintings. Nature is the apple of her eye and she lovingly expresses it with beautiful flowers, fields, wide valleys, tall mountains and blossoming balconies.
